Asustek Computer Inc., One of the world’s four major motherboard manufacturers designing technology similar to Turbo’s Core AMD, the processor manufacturer. His name is Turbo Unlocker Asus.

This technology is claimed to be better than the Turbo Core. Because, Turbo Unlocker make all cores go into Boost mode. This is different from Core Turbo which only set the course for some core work on the condition of the turbo.

With the single thread load, the active core are given maximum encouragement from the side of the clock speed. As a multi-thread load increased, the more the number of cores that is converted into boost mode.

This boost in speed mode itself will be reduced in line with the increasing number of active cores.

Asus said the technology will be available at all levels of their motherboards, AMD chipset-based 8-series. Interesting disimak whether Asus would go further by making Unlocker Turbo technology for Intel Core I3
